Working with diverse student populations enhances both the quality of your proposal and the quality of the UC Davis student experience. There are a great deal more campus units geared toward specific student populations, including (but not limited to) the Native American Student Success Center, the Cross Cultural Center, the LGBTQIA+ Resource Center, the Women’s Resources and Research Center, the Student Recruitment and Retention Center, the Strategic Asian and Pacific Islander Retention Initiative, Veterans Success Center, Global Affairs, and more. The best approach is to first identify which underrepresented groups you’d like to work with and then locate the campus resources specific to those groups.
